Patreon Re-Launch

Recently my Patreon page at patreon.com/argentkvasnikoff had a soft "re-launch" that includes new donation tiers for those who would like to support cultural education and projects. Some of these projects include a collaboration with the Homer Public Library on an upcoming youth craft workshop and a new initiative addressing the cultural lens of ecological diversity within the riverine systems the people of my tribe have used for generations. I would like to thank my wonderful friend and confident Sven Camrath for being the first and so far only supporter on this page, and I wholeheartedly recommend his own personal crafts which can be found at CraftingWeasel on Etsy
He also collaborates with his wife Lauren who also has an amazing multitude of craft skills in several disciplines. Her shop is found at teatoucan.com

Commitment to Anti-Racism

This month I was very honored to be a guest conversationalist with anti-racism advocate Skywalker Payne for her new program R.A.C.E.S., which is a web-based community and resource hub providing insight on the impacts of racism. This program focuses on person-to-person conversations, discussions, and writings to promote a safe space for interaction and collaboration for people of all identities. By exploring our own words, stories, and ideas through meaningful conversation R.A.C.E.S. aims to provide a first important step in not just the addressing and reconciliation of racism, but also prevention of racism's influence in the world's societies. This hub will have its full launch on October 12th, which is either Indigenous People's Day or Columbus Day in various jurisdictions in the United States, in honor of the era of discovery being both the catalyst of modern development as well as the beginnings of institutionalizing racist ideals. R.A.C.E.S. content will be available in a quarterly web magazine format and the launch price for subscription is only $5. Please visit the R.A.C.E.S. page through Skywalker's main business domain at vibrantvelvetvoice.net/races

Future

2020 is nearing a close and this year has presented many obvious challenges and difficulties but it has been an honor to be able to be a part of so many events and initiatives along the way. Although many of my intended works have been upended, what has taken their place has been of such an immense value. I can only continue to be optimistic for the future.

Thank you for your support and your time.
